Beidahuang Group

Beidahuang group (Heilongjiang General Bureau of agricultural reclamation) is located in the economic location center of Northeast Asia, located in the foothills of Xiaoxing'an Mountains, Songnen Plain and Sanjiang Plain in Northeast China. It is one of the three famous black soil belts in the world, with a total area of 55400 square kilometers, including 36.5 million mu of arable land. It is a national ecological demonstration area.

The head office of the group is located in Harbin City, with 9 branches, 104 farms, 1136 industrial and commercial construction and service enterprises, 18 scientific research and development institutions, 4 Ordinary Colleges and universities, 3 adult colleges and universities, 2 ordinary secondary professional schools, 138 ordinary middle schools, 140 primary schools, 126 hospitals, 90 health and epidemic prevention stations, 70 maternal and child health care stations, 71 TV stations, 111 cable TV stations, 1 Daily newspaper. The group has a total population of 1.579 million, with 772 000 employees in various industries, including 422 000 in agriculture, 112 000 in industry and 110 000 in commercial and beverage services.

The predecessor of Beidahuang group is Heilongjiang agricultural reclamation system, formerly Heilongjiang production and Construction Corps of Shenyang Military Region of Chinese people's Liberation Army. Founded in 1947. People from all over the world have gathered here. After three generations and half a century of hard work, the state-owned farm group with the largest cultivated land and the highest degree of mechanization in China has been built on the ancient wasteland with few people in the past. It has become the largest commodity grain production base in China and the largest listed agricultural company in China. The total annual grain output accounts for about 5% of the country.

In March 1998, with the approval of the State Council, Heilongjiang Beidahuang agricultural reclamation Group Corporation was established and Beidahuang agricultural reclamation group was established, which was listed in the pilot list of 120 large enterprise groups in China (see Beidahuang information port for details).
