 Qiqihar City Museum, located at No. 1, Zhonghua Road, Jianhua District, Qiqihar City, is a national secondary museum and a public welfare cultural institution. It is currently one of the largest inland (municipal)-level comprehensive museums in Heilongjiang Province with relatively complete facilities. The Qiqihar City Museum was completed and put into use in 2003. It covers a total area of 14,250 square meters, and the main building area is 11,000 square meters. The main building is divided into three exhibition areas. The main building: permanent display of "Nenjiang Civilization" and three temporary exhibition halls; East side building: art gallery; west side building: cultural and creative products exhibition hall. Qiqihar City Museum was named one of the "Top Ten Landmark Buildings" in Qiqihar City in 2007. The subsidiary exhibition area is the former site of the Heilongjiang Supervisory Office, which is a "National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit" announced by the State Council of the People's Republic of China in 2013, with a building area of 1,214 square meters. The museum currently has a total of 5,746 cultural relics, with 847 sets of grading collections, including 8 national first-class cultural relics, 37 second-class cultural relics, and 1,328 third-class cultural relics. |
