The company has a construction area of nearly 160,000 square meters. Huayuan Group has trade relations and branches in countries and regions including the USA, the Netherlands, Costa Rica, Italy, Peru, and Hong Kong. It has established partnerships with world-renowned companies such as Nestlé, Green Monday, Oppenheimer, IARS, Vitasoy, Leekui Kee, Heinz, Danone, Abbott, Mengniu, Shengmu Gaoke, Wangzai, and Tongchen Beijian. The company has a close collaboration with Northeast Agricultural University through the establishment of the 'Northeast Huayuan Soybean Industry Technology Innovation Center' and a technological 'Leading Goose Workstation'. The cooperation between both parties started with the functional soybean breeding, and expanded to promotion and planting, then from primary processing to deep processing. The company is a diversified industrialized entity that integrates production, education, research, science, industry, and trade, forming a truly complete industrial chain that maximizes the reduction of the transformation cycle of scientific and technological achievements. Currently, the company is developing two lines based on the patented technology results of 'lipoxygenase and 7S globulin dual deficiency' soybeans that have no bean odor.The first line focuses on the breeding, reproduction, and planting of the dual-deficient functional soybeans with no bean odor, expanding limited resources development, promoting local agriculture development, accelerating the progress of production, learning, and research, and solving the 'last mile' problem of technological achievement transformation.The second line is dedicated to the processing and product research and development of functional soybean protein. Soybean protein products mainly include basic raw materials such as textured protein, isolated protein, and concentrated protein, which are then subject to further processing. The deep-processed products include plant-based meat alternatives, beverages, health products, and plant-based protein milk, with plant-based meat closely resembling the taste and texture of animal protein.The company currently holds multiple patents and collaborates not only with Northeast Agricultural University but also conducts in-depth cooperation with other research institutions on the development of plant-based meat products. Professor Wang Liancheng, known as China’s leading figure in vegetarian product development, has joined Huayuan Organic Food (Heilongjiang) Co., Ltd. He will lead his research team and patented products to promote the development of soybean protein products in China. In 2022, the company will continue to increase its investment in technological innovation and has currently engaged in cooperative discussions with Dr. Jiang Lianzou, the head of the National Soybean Engineering Technology Center and dean of the Food College at Northeast Agricultural University, regarding phase two project products. After the completion and operation of the Huayuan Soybean Industrial Park project, it will have the capacity to process 200,000 tons of soybeans annually, producing 160,000 tons of organic soybean meal powder, 40,000 tons of refined oil, 20,000 tons of textured protein, 10,000 tons of various plant proteins, 30,000 tons of artificial meat, 20,000 tons of alcohol-extracted concentrated protein, 20,000 tons of oat enzymatic plant milk, and 10,000 tons of fruit and vegetable juice and powder, achieving an output value of 1 billion yuan. The completion of the Huayuan Soybean Industrial Park project will enhance the value-added aspect of regional agricultural products, and Keshan County is expected to be built into the 'Vegetable Meat Capital of China,' the 'World's Largest Multi-Variety Plant Protein Production Base,' and the 'Functional Soybean Capital.'
