Yimianpo Pioneer Wine Co., Ltd. has a long history, and there are historical records as early as the Republic of China. "Three berries" were introduced by the Russians in the late Qing Dynasty and were planted in a slope area. They are mainly used as raw materials for wine making and also for food. There are a variety of mulberries, raspberries, black and red grapes, and various fruit wines are made from their juices. After 1949, the county government took advantage of the abundant resources of wild fruits such as grapes, strawberries, raspberries, purple berries, etc. within a few hundred miles of Yimianpo, and reported to the Provincial Department of Industry for approval, and began to build a Yimianpo winery in 1954. In 1958, the Yimianpo Winery used "Three Berry" as the raw material to successfully develop three famous wines of purple plum, golden plum and fragrant plum, which were sold well at home and abroad, which stimulated the production of "three berry" fruit. In May 1957, the winery was officially completed and put into production, producing 738 tons of fruit wine (mountain wine and synthetic wine) that year. In 1958, it trial-produced and produced Dongbei brand strawberry wine, raspberry wine, and black bean wine. The total annual output of various wines reached 1,484 tons. Later, at the suggestion of Zhu Mei, the chief engineer of the Ministry of Light Industry, the above three wines were renamed Jinmei Wine, Fragrant Plum Wine, and Purple Plum Wine. In 1959, more than a dozen kinds of candied date wine, fruit wine and hawthorn wine were produced. After 1965, the export varieties increased year by year, mainly including mountain wine, purple plum wine, fragrant plum wine, golden plum wine, Chinese log wine, ginseng royal jelly wine, deer tail tonic wine, snow clam tonic wine, five ginseng wine, etc. Varieties and products are exported to more than 20 countries and regions such as Europe, America, Japan, Southeast Asia, Hong Kong and Macao.
