 From 1973 to 1975, an expert group composed of Chinese Baijiu magnates Zhou Henggang, Gao Yueming, Hong Yongkai and other technical personnel piloted in Yuquan. After three years of painstaking development, the "two-step brewing process" was adopted to brew the concurrently fragrant Yuquan liquor with "strong flavor in the mouth and sauce in the mouth" in 1975, creating the fifth largest flavor type of Chinese Baijiu after thick, sauce, rice and Qing Dynasty, so that it became a representative flavor liquor alongside famous liquors such as Maotai and Wuliangye, and was the standard setter of Chinese thick sauce and flavor Baijiu. In 1975, the national Baijiu technology elite expert group led by Zhou Henggang, the national Baijiu magnate, pioneered the Yuquan square bottle, which was the fifth largest Baijiu flavor in China at that time.
