Wufu Site, a state-level protection unit. It was excavated by the famous archaeologist Mr. Liang Siyong in 1930. Mr. Liang Siyong is the second son of Liang Qichao and the younger brother of Liang Sicheng. In his early years, he studied at Harvard University in the United States, studying archaeology and anthropology, and he was the first Chinese who received formal training in modern Western archaeology. He also brought this very advanced archeological concept back to China. The first site excavated in my country using this archaeological method is the Wufu site. After this excavation, he also published the "Report on the Prehistoric Sites of Ang'angxi", which established the culture of Ang'angxi and made the name of Ang'angxi world famous. After that, the Angangxi culture was incorporated into our country’s middle school textbooks. Liang Siyong is therefore known as the first person in field archaeology in China.
