The lotus Luo Xi Bo rice, which shares the same river as the Wuchang rice. Shuangcheng is the earliest rice-growing area in Harbin's history. Both Shuangcheng and Bihu grew it, and the harvest was abundant, no less than that of Fengtian sago. It was also a common folk product. In the early years of the Republic of China, due to the appointment of Mo Dehui, a prominent figure from Shuangcheng, as the Minister of Agriculture and Industry of the Beiyang Government, he was the first to introduce rice cultivation. Especially after the construction of the water diversion and pulling project, rice has become a major grain product in Shuangcheng. Farmers of the Xibe ethnic group along both banks of the canal have successively shifted from dryland farming to paddy field farming.

The main cultivated varieties of Lotus Loxi Bomi are long-grain fragrant and Rice Flower Fragrant. Its main advantages are: (1) Beautiful water, irrigated with the Lalin River, which has the best water quality in the world, along with Wuchang rice; (2) The accumulated temperature is high. Shuangcheng is the first accumulated temperature zone in Heilongjiang Province, so it has good maturity, plump grains, high gelatinous content, and excellent nutrition and taste. (3) It has its own production base and does not engage in adulteration, counterfeiting or passing off inferior goods as good ones. (4) Exclusive operation, genuine products at fair prices, no counterfeits in the market, attractive prices that are cost-effective to purchase, stable quality that is reassuring to eat. Therefore, the product has always been in short supply.
