Axlebox overheating and wheel overheating detection system THDS
This system is installed on both sides of the rail and is designed to monitor the condition of bearings and wheels by collecting infrared radiation to measure the temperatures of bearings and wheels. In the event of a serious overheating of the axle box or overheating of the wheels, the system will promptly issue alarms and give a command to stop the train. This effectively prevents accidents while driving.
By equipping the wheels with sensors, the system can accurately locate axlebox overheating and wheel overheating, and can also automatically detect arriving trains, take into account the number of axles and the number of wagons, and display the train composition, transit time and direction of travel.
The system uses the latest computer technology to process data. The system has a block design, is fully automated and easy to maintain.
To date, HTK has installed 3,800 axlebox overheat detection kits on railways in China, Australia and South Africa. Thus, HTK is the company that has installed the largest number of such products in the world.
